Who Are The Mythbusters?

Yes, new Mythbusters fan, you are wondering "Who Are The Mythbusters?" This is my twisted explanation...

Adam & Jamie

Adam Savage: Adam Savage is one of the hosts of the show. He is the one with the hyper and excitable voice and usually wears a dark-colored shirt.

His dad worked for the popular children's show Sesame Street, usually making puppets. Adam got to voice them.

Mr. Sabage also was Mr. Whipple's stockboy in a Charmin commercial and a drowning person in the Billy Joel music video You're Only Human.

Jamie Hyneman: Jamie is the other host for the show, and is what Adam isn't; emotionless, intelligent and dull. He is bald and wears a black beret and seems to always wear the same outfit.

He owns M5, the workshop where Mythbusters is usually filmed. He has been working with Adam with special effects for years now, and asked Adam to co-host the show since he thought he was too boring to do it by himself. He identifies as an athiest and skeptic.

The Build Team

Kari Byron: Kari is currently the only female member of the build team and the youngest main Mythbuster. (Kari is 32 for the records) She is intelligent and started working for Adam and Jamie early in the show. (Although she is seen in the first episode working on a computer, but in the backround.)

Tory Belleci: Tory has been on the Mythbusters for a long time as well. he started working for M5 in 1993, and joined the Mythbusters about a decade later. He is disliked among some fans for being the "idiot" of the show.

Grant Imahara: Grant joined the build team at the end of season 2, replacing Scottie Chapman. He is Japanese-American. Before Tory persuaded him to join the Mythbusters, he did special effects for movies like Star Wars (Episodes 1, 2 and 3) Terminator 3 and the Matrix. He was a former Battlebots competetor, along with Jamie Hyneman.

Misc. Cast

Scottie Chapman: Scottie was known to viewers as "the Maiden of Metal" and recognized for her tattoos. But she quit very soon after Grant joined the team. Maybe she hates him...

Christine Chamberlain: Christine started at the beginning of season 2, and left about 18 episodes later. She was a Mythtern, so she had her reasons. Christine usually wore black-rimmed glasses (somewhat similar to Adam's) and had her hair usually is a ponytail.

Jess Nelson: Jess doesn't make too many appearances. Her first appearance was in the revisit of "Archimedes Death Ray" and she has returned in a few episodes, doing random junk for Adam and Jamie.

Heather Joseph-Withman: Heather isn't really a Mythbuster, but she makes plenty of appearances, explaining myths to viewers.

Robert Lee XXVI: Robert Lee is the narrator for the Mythbusters.

Buster: We can't really consider Buster a cast member, but this crash test dummy is part of team. When a myth is too dangerous for a human, he steps in to get crushed, exploded, dropped or sent into orbit. He has had other dummies with him, either partaking in his pain or replacing him. Those dummies have included "Ted" (Balistics gel dummy), "Jane" (Female dummy), "Simulaid Suzie" (child dummy) "Randy" (Very similar to Buster) and an unnamed dummy. Most of them were used in the "Killer Brace Position" myth, where multiple dummies were needed, and Ted was used in the "22,000 foot drop" myth.

Deathblow: Deathblow is Grant's Battlebots robot. Like Buster, he isn't really a cast member.
